Summary of Position:

We are looking for a Consumer Data Guru! Join our team as a CRM and Marketing Analytics Lead! As the CRM and Marketing Analytics Lead, you'll be the data guru responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance of the CRM environment, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

CRM Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the CRM environment, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Segmentation: Create, update, and manage customer profiles, leads, and contacts, including data segmentation to support marketing, sales, and revenue operations.
  • Automation Management: Support automation workflows, validation rules, and security controls within CRM databases, implementing changes as directed.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with marketing team to design and build integrations between CRM database and other applications to streamline processes and data flow, supporting the marketing team's objectives.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize CRM data to support marketing team’s vision in creating omnichannel sales and marketing dashboards that track the success of marketing campaigns and ad sales deal pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute CRM strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create and manage segmented lists, workflows, and automation processes.
  • Campaign QA. Ensure accurate, timely and consistent delivery of email campaigns. Provide platform recommendations and benchmarking. Monitor and maintain email list health which includes following email deliverability best practices and email cleanup.
  • Testing. Create and manage an ongoing testing plan to continually learn and improve performance. Structure A/B tests and drive email testing experiences to enhance productivity, deliverability, and customer engagement/acquisition.

Marketing Database & Analytics Expertise:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in various Marketing database tools, using them to enhance customer engagement, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage segmentation strategies for multi-channel targeted marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, and email marketing databases.
  • Utilize Looker analytics to measure the performance of campaigns and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Generate and maintain dynamic reporting dashboards (Looker) for ongoing contact. acquisitions, campaign engagement, data assessment, and other special reports.
  • Capture, track, and reconcile marketing spend to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with finance.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the quality of customer data within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Implement data segmentation strategies to deliver tailored content and experiences to different customer segments.
  • Assist with and provide insights into database optimization including data acquisition, list segmentation. Maintain data cleanliness and integrity within CRM and marketing automation databases.
  • Work closely with marketing to build, automate, and optimize email marketing initiatives and related target lists, including lead scoring and nurture campaigns.


Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Business and/or Marketing).
  • Proficiency in CRM administration.
  • Recurring revenue or membership business background is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management principles/practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Strong analytical mind with advanced excel skills.
  • Experience working with Braze is a plus.
  • Experience producing and executing email marketing campaigns, constructing automated journeys, creating customer segmentations, and building HTML-based emails.
  • Technical experience of current best-practice email build and personalization methods.
  • Strong experience deploying prospecting and CRM programs.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, CAN-SPAM & CASL.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Very detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work with urgent deadlines and re-prioritize work when needed.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and tools.
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about data accuracy and security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and align key leaders to drive implementation plans that drive business growth.
