Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing and policies.
  • Develop, market, and sell advertising and sponsorship programs/packages in coordination with marketing, product, and commercial leadership.
  • Improve upon existing sales proposals.
  • Manage timelines, publication, and distribution of all sponsorships and advertising to meet client expectations and contract deliverables.
  • Build, maintain, and engage with a target list of prospective advertising clients. There will be a sales quota.
  • Works closely with our contracted clients on their sponsorship programs including the development of pitches and proposals, gathering and integrating client feedback, ongoing status check-ins, reporting and performance tracking, as well as proper invoicing and billing.
  • Manage the inbound partnerships inbox.
  • Engage with an established network of brands and travel influencers for product marketing partnerships.
  • Manage internal programmatic advertising platforms and house-ad strategies, optimizing the overall advertising strategy to maximize ancillary revenue generation.
  • Champion the Roadpass Digital culture, leading by example and delivering through the lens of our “Rules of the Road”.


Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5-10 years in advertising sales with a proven track record of successful advertising sales.
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
  • Experience in marketing sponsorships and digital media.
  • Previous media sales experience.
  • Proven inbound and outbound sales experience.
  • History of proven sales performance.
  • Experience working for a direct-to-consumer technology or travel brand is a plus.
  • Effective at maintaining professional relationships to gain trust and respect with prospective partners through thorough and concise communication.
  • Experience with project management and productivity applications/tools (Mac, Slack, GSuite).
  • Ability to think critically, be action-oriented, and take initiative.
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly, easily make connections among previously unrelated ideas and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
  • Ability to regularly exercise judgment and discretion in order to manage projects and client relationships, knowing when to escalate to senior team members and counterparts for support.
  • Ability to be highly organized and prioritize coordination of multiple assignments.
